Art Education in Sweden

In this lecture, Prof. Hanna Ahrenby will illustrate the development of Visual Arts education in the Swedish school - from a focus on technical skills to a focus on visual communication and visual culture. After that, art teachers' education in Swedish universities will be addressed along with her reflections on what they have gained and lost along with the development of the subject.
